Depending on the size of the commission, it may take anywhere from a month minimum, to three to five. I fire in a community kiln, so my ability to turn around pieces hinges on their firing schedule. Additionally, ceramics can be quite unforgiving, and accidents happen. This can result in the wait being longer as a piece needs to be remade.
